Day 2️⃣ – On Arrival Training
Monday 10th – On the first day of the project, we organised an on arrival training for the participants with a busy program :
Introduction/Briefing of Project, Orientation, presentation of the How to document & post, Youth Pass, -Video/-Dance/Art, Crew prep storyline/production, Shopping List.
The afternoon focused on the discovery of Aruba with :
- Visit different beaches, mondi, caves & local attractions
- learning a bit of local language Papiamento, dance, flora & fauna
- enjoying local food & snacks
- playing local games
- Sunset in Paradise at Eagle Beach
- Finishing with a Show from Popcorn Dancers at Divi Divi Hotel
Day 3️⃣ – Planning of Program, Phases, Schedules, Classes
Tuesday 11th July was a busy day for our Dream DARE Do 2023 participants, starting with a planning/preparation meeting with Freddy Tromp from Popcorn Club Aruba, followed by a catamaran trip. On the boat, participants had the opportunity to do sailing, rope swing & snorkelling.
