Volunteering in Aruba

Find out more about our volunteering opportunities in Aruba:

Offering international opportunities

We involve local young people in our activities when international vocational trainees come to Aruba as we believe that this is the first stage in breaking down barriers around European mobility.

Tur Cos Ta Posibel hosts trainees and volunteers across several sporting activities. These include four junior football clubs, swimming and community athletics where trainees will join the local coaches to deliver sessions. Trainees also link with Ibisa, the Government department responsible for sport in school where they can co-deliver sports clinics in different sports, volleyball, judo, athletics, table tennis. Trainees will have the opportunity to co-deliver sports lessons and tournaments in the local vocational college of Aruba SEPB, local prison and sessions in local community and disability organisations aimed at engaging children and young people in a healthy lifestyle.

For arts and cultural activities, TCTP is working with Popcorn Dancers, the main local community dance organisation, and Arte Sano Foundation, where they strive to teach, train, equip and empower vulnerable people of Aruba’s community and create long term impact in these population using design and arts as a tool to create beautiful artwork while transforming lives and Artisa offering community art engagement.
Our lastest project Build It Back Together is supported by the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union.
