Dream Dare Do

The project

“Dream, Dare, Do” is a project conceived to foster youth personal development through a culture of shared authority, which supports youth in using their expertise to educate others, whether that be other youth or the adult educators themselves.
The two-weeks project is addressed to people interested in arts. Participants (the DO team) will be given the opportunity to participate to different workshops in the fields of art, theatre, music and dance delivered by other young people (the DARE team), who will receive a training (delivered by the DREAM team) on leadership-, presentation-, communication skills, group forming and the basics of “how to organize and give a workshop”.

Accommodation and meals

Volunteers will stay in our youth house Casa Azul in the district of Pos Chiquito and will be involved in daily activities with “Popcorn Club” and “Tur Cos Ta Posibel”. Rooms will be shared between 3 and 5 volunteers They will be expected to share cooking and cleaning in the house and generally work together as a team in and outside of their project days. To cook they will receive a card with food money loaded up in USD that they can use to shop as a group, their allowance will be provided to them for the two weeks at the start of the project.

  • Creative and dynamic individuals
  • who can teach & motivate the youth to acquire skills within the fields of art, theatre, music, video & music production, poetry, photography, social media, and dance (Latin, Afro, Commercial, K-Pop, Urban & Street dances).
