Dance coaching

The project

We are looking for open-minded individuals, particularly enthusiastic young people, who can bring vitality to Popcorn Club, a non-profit organization that aims to provide young people of Aruba with accessible opportunities to engage in social-, cultural-, recreational-, educational, and physical activities affecting their physical and mental wellbeing, which can, in turn, have a positive societal change.
We require determined, proactive individuals. Arts, social, or technical skills welcome. Active participation needed for Popcorn Club events and projects.
We are seeking volunteers with diverse skills:

  • Volunteers with dancing skills / ability to teach dance in different settings
  • Volunteers with some ability in designing, making, upcycling, and decorating dancing costumes
  • Seeking skilled volunteers in event coordination, photography, videography, digital design, website, social media, and communication.

Accommodation and meals

Volunteers will live in a shared house with other international participants. Rooms will be shared for volunteer groups and long-term ESC volunteers will either have an individual room or a room shared with one other participant.
Volunteers will receive a weekly food allowance as well as a general kitty to be able to buy food and household necessities either individually or as a group.
The accommodation is well located; 5 minutes’ walk from a local beach and with all the appliances and equipment needed for self-catering and learning to cook the local food.
There are 2 shared cars and 2 bikes which can be used by volunteers.

For this project, volunteers need to be …

• Aged 18 – 30 years
• A good communicator with an artistic, outgoing, positive, flexible, confident, supportive and inspiring attitude
• Flexible to work in all activities of the host
