The project
Our partner in Thessaloniki, Greece – S.E.G.E. – is inviting young volunteers from Aruba to take part in a vibrant and creative short-term experience as part of a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project.
The selected Arubian volunteers will have the chance to get involved in projects connected to the Street Mode Festival, a massive event hosting over 25 live shows per day and attracting more than 10,000 people!
Role & Responsibilities
- Depending on your skills and interests, you could join one or more of the following teams:
- Assisting with pre-production, logistics, and festival implementation
- Creating eco-awareness campaigns (e.g. upcycled clothes runway, face/body art)
- Designing soundscapes for exhibitions
- Taking part in gender-awareness interventions and anti-sexism campaigns
- Promoting creativity through inclusive, non-formal education activities
- No experience is required — just motivation, creativity, and teamwork!
What’s provided
✔️ Accommodation in shared rooms with other volunteers (2–4 per room)
✔️ 3 meals per day provided by the host (breakfast 9:00, lunch 14:00, dinner 20:00)
✔️ Full insurance coverage (via ESC/Henner)

Who We’re Looking For
- Young people aged 18–30, resident in Aruba
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
- Comfortable in English (other languages are a plus)
- Motivated, proactive, and curious about culture, art, and social impact
