The project
Tur Cos Ta Posibel will host a team of local and international volunteers on a creative arts project, we are looking for 10 international volunteers to take part in a three-week TEAM project where we will support our local community partners in creative pieces to brighten the environments where they are based. Activities will be split between creative arts and practical tasks to prepare the areas, this could include grass cutting, preparing play equipment or walls before they are painted, fixing fences, gates and entrances to locations where we work.
Past places we have supported include KIA – our national prison, Te Aworo – a community childcare provision or SVGA – a disability partner.
Accommodation and meals
Volunteers will live in a shared house with other international participants. Rooms will be shared with between 3 and 5 people in our community house. Volunteers will receive a bank card with a food allowance so they can buy and prepare their meals and purchase household necessities. The accommodation is well located, 5 minutes walk from a local beach and with all the appliances and equipment needed for self catering. Towels will be provided. TCTP will cover economy flights with hand luggage and either lifts or a bus pass will be provided for getting to and from activities.
