What is the ESC volunteering programme
ESC Individual Volunteering projects offer young people aged 18โ30 the opportunity to engage in long-term, full-time voluntary work abroad or in their home country, typically lasting from 2 to 12 months. These projects focus on addressing key societal challenges, such as social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and cultural development, while fostering personal and professional growth. Participants are fully supported with funding for travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, and pocket money, ensuring accessibility to all, including those with fewer opportunities. ESC Individual Volunteering allows participants to immerse themselves in a new culture, contribute meaningfully to a community, and gain valuable skills and experiences tailored to their interests and goals.
Our ESC volunteering projects
Tur Cos Ta Posibel offers a range of ESC Individual Volunteering opportunities that combine personal growth, cultural exchange, and meaningful community impact. Volunteers can join the Arts Project, working with organizations like Arte Sano to empower vulnerable groups through creative industries or ArtisA to organize events and workshops while supporting gallery operations. The Dance Coaching project engages volunteers with Popcorn Club, teaching dance, creating costumes, and supporting cultural events. Animal lovers can participate in the Donkey Sanctuary project, helping care for donkeys and supporting conservation activities.
In the Prison Yoga + Meditation project, certified yoga instructors lead trauma-informed sessions to support incarcerated individuals’ mental well-being. Volunteers in Social Work collaborate with organizations serving people with disabilities or those in rehabilitation, using arts, sports, and yoga to foster inclusion. For those passionate about physical activity, the Sport Coaching project offers opportunities to work with local sports clubs and schools, promoting health and teamwork among young people. These projects run for 2-12 months and cater to various interests, creating meaningful experiences for volunteers and the Aruba community.
