Currents – An exciting opportunity is coming to Aruba in February

Tur Cos Ta Posibel and Popcorn Club are being joined by our partners Acting For Change who are sailing from Europe to co-deliver a circus, arts, sailing and environmentalism activity during February and we would like you to be involved. Currents aims to empower youth in advocating for intergenerational climate justice through a methodology blending creative & environmental skills. Specifically, they support youth from European Overseas Countries and Territories, who despite being at the forefront of the climate crisis, are marginalised due to their geographical remoteness from EU decision-making centres.

What we are looking for:

• Organisations who consider the environment to be a central focus of their work
• 6 Young people age 17 – 21 with a passion to learn skills around sailing, boat fixing and crafting in this field
• 8 Young people with an interest in circus, dance and performance who are ready to learn, share and perform as part of this exciting project
• 2 skilled artists (youth or adults) with performance skills, could be circus or dance who will join the incoming team of 7 in 4 final performances
