Social work

The project

Tur Cos Ta Posibel collaborates with different social welfare organisations on Aruba: KIA (the national prison), EPB College, Funari and Sonrisa, organisations who work with physical and mentally disabled people of different ages and Stiching Hunto, a reality that supports people undergoing drug/ alcohol rehabilitation.
Social work volunteers will support the ‘added value work in these institutions’, working alongside core staff and volunteers to support clients, often by using sport, art, dance and yoga. Volunteers will plan and deliver the here mentioned activities in accordance with their skills, knowledge and interest.
In addition to this work Tur Cos Ta Posibel supports other local community groups, that are not strictly social welfare organisations ; there is an element of social welfare to our work supporting children, young people and their families experiencing social issues.

Accommodation and meals
