The project

ArtisA and Popcorn Dancers are seeking a creative and committed Visibility Volunteer to
join our team in amplifying the presence of both organizations across digital and community
platforms.

This volunteer will work closely with ArtisA (Aruba’s leading contemporary art hub) and
Popcorn Dancers (a local youth dance collective known for their artistic expression and
community engagement).

You’ll play a key role in telling our story: documenting behind-the-scenes moments, sharing
the magic of our events and creative processes, and helping our work reach broader
audiences in Aruba and beyond.

Role & Responsibilities

Primary Tasks:

• Capture and edit photo and video content (including b-roll, reels, and short interviews)
• Share behind-the-scenes (BTS) content during event planning, workshops, rehearsals, and exhibitions
• Develop creative, engaging content ideas (e.g., artist/dancer spotlights, fun facts, throwbacks)
• Coordinate with the team to plan, produce, and post consistent content on social media
• Assist in curating visual archives and organizing media folders
• Collaborate with ArtisA and Popcorn Dancers to maintain a vibrant, authentic, and consistent online presence

Secondary (Optional) Tasks:

• Assist with basic graphic design (e.g., Instagram stories, event previews)
• Help with visibility strategies during special projects or campaigns

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone passionate about storytelling, the arts, and youth empowerment
• Experience or interest in content creation, photography/videography, or social media management
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and in a team
• Flexible and open to learning — this is a growing role in a creative environment
• English is required; knowledge of Papiamento, Spanish, or Dutch is a plus
