Three young participants from Aruba took part in a recycling project in the UK

In August 2022, three young participants from Aruba had the opportunity to take part in a 2 week project in the United Kingdom, hosted by our partner organisation Everything is Possible. This project co-funded by the European Solidarity Corps programme of the European Union focused on recycling. During 2 weeks, participants promoted recycling at two major festivals (Trib Fest and Leeds Festival) encouraging festival goers to take their part in keeping the festivals environmentally friendly. At the end of the Leeds Festival they salvaged tents left behind by festival goers, as well as food from food trucks, which were all passed into local community organisations supporting local community groups, scouts and homeless people for example.
