The project
Villa Leipzig in Germany is currently looking for motivated young people from Aruba to join three different European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering projects starting in August or September 2026.
These long-term projects offer the opportunity to live in Germany for one year, gain valuable experience, improve your language skills, and become part of an international community of volunteers.
All projects are fully funded through the European Solidarity Corps programme.

The opportunities
๐ง After-School Care (NaSch)
Support children aged 6-12 in an after-school care centre in Leipzig.
Activities may include:
- Playing games and organising activities
- Arts and crafts
- Supporting excursions and holiday activities
- Sharing your culture, language and traditions with children

๐ Deadline: 21st June 2026
๐ฑ Elementary School & Eco-Village
Live in a rural eco-village community while supporting a small, innovative primary school.
Activities may include:
- Supporting children’s learning
- Outdoor education
- Community activities
- Sustainable agriculture and environmental projects

๐ฅ Judo Sports Club
Join one of the largest judo clubs in Germany.
Activities may include:
- Assisting judo coaches
- Supporting sports activities
- Helping organise camps and events
- Working with children and young people

๐ Deadline: 30th June 2026
โ ๏ธ Previous judo experience is required for this project.
